Participants
A participant is a named contact enrolled in an experience — someone you can identify, typically by name and email. The Participants area lists them and their progress.
How participants are created
Section titled “How participants are created”- Manually, when you add contacts to a campaign.
- Automatically, when an experience is triggered for a specific person — for example, by a webhook from your CRM carrying that person’s id.
Each participant gets a participant shortcode — their personal link into the experience.
What you can see per participant
Section titled “What you can see per participant”- Their identity and the experience/campaign they’re in.
- Their progress — which cards they’ve reached, whether they hit the goal.
- The attributes mapped onto them from inbound events, and the tags they carry.
Identity linking
Section titled “Identity linking”A participant may be matched to an anonymous visitor once their client user id links to one. Until a visitor links, inbound work for that id is held rather than guessed. Connected systems can carry several ids for the same person — see Connect Segment.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Participant records hold personal data. They are retained with time-to-live expiry, and data-subject erasure is supported across participant, delivery-log and identity stores. Raise specific retention or residency needs with your 2mee contact.
Related
Section titled “Related”- Reach them: campaigns.
- Their links: shortcodes.
- Enrol them by event: inbound signing.
