Your first experience
This walkthrough builds a one-card experience, deploys it to your account, and opens it from its shortcode. It takes about ten minutes and needs no code.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A 2mee portal login. If you don’t have one, see account setup.
1. Create the experience
Section titled “1. Create the experience”- In the portal, open Experiences and choose New experience.
- Give it a name your team will recognise (e.g. “Pricing reassurance”).
- A new experience starts with one card — that’s all you need for now.
2. Set up the card
Section titled “2. Set up the card”- Open the card and choose a layout template (start with Standard).
- Set the card’s CTA (the button the viewer taps) and where it links. The template’s outlet is where card content sits — its content is currently being reworked.
- Save. The portal shows a live preview of the card.
See the experience editor for the full set of controls.
3. Deploy it
Section titled “3. Deploy it”Deploying turns the designed card into a deployed card — a flat, self-contained record (your branding + template) with its own shortcode.
- Choose Deploy and pick your account.
- The portal shows the deployed card’s shortcode and link.
4. Open it
Section titled “4. Open it”Open the shortcode link in a browser. You’ll see your card hosted on 2mee (Outpost). Tap the CTA to confirm it goes where you set.
5. (Optional) Show it on your site
Section titled “5. (Optional) Show it on your site”To show messages over your own website instead of a hosted page, add the 2mee snippet — see account setup. Published messages then appear for visitors automatically; there is no per-page targeting to configure.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Add logic with a flow so the experience starts or advances from an event.
- Trigger experiences from your data by connecting Segment or a generic webhook.
- Enrol named contacts as participants and send them their own links.
